Alyssa Valdez addresses rumors about breakup with Kiefer Ravena: 'Please avoid making up stories'
Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez has broken her silence as rumors of her breakup with basketball player Kiefer Ravena spread online.
The Creamline Cool Smashers player asked fans to avoid making up stories on the matter, retweeting an official statement from her talent agency, VMG Asia.
"Please avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors," Valdez tweeted on May 26. "Thank you for all the love."

Meanwhile, her talent agency said that there was no third party involved with the breakup and told the public to respect Valdez's privacy.
"A lot of speculation has been made. We appreciate the concern, but this decision does not involve any other party. Let us avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors," it said in a statement.
"We hope that everyone can respect Alyssa's decision to keep things private."
It also said that they will not be entertaining interviews or questions related to the gossip.

Ravena has yet to issue a statement on the rumors.
Rumors about their split started on May 23, when eagle-eyed fans noticed that the two athletes changed their Instagram profile pictures. The former Ateneo players, however, still have photos together on their pages.
Valdez and Ravena were together for six years and first confirmed their relationship in an episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda in 2016.
