Kids aged five and up can now register for the national ID cards in registration hubs of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in the country.

Parents or guardians need to bring the child’s birth certificate, school ID, and a valid government ID of the parent or guardian.

The PSA has also listed in their website a list of other supporting documents.

In a Nov. 10 press release, the PSA said that over 3 million national IDs have already been shipped to date.

“We humbly ask for the patience and support of the public as we, together with the BSP and PHLPost, continuously do our best in accommodating millions of Filipinos who have successfully registered,” said PSA assistant secretary Rosalinda P. Bautista.

Bautista said they are also set to launch a mobile ID, which will be a digital alternative to the national ID.

Meanwhile, PSA also recently warned the public against an unauthorized website that promises P10,000 for those who will sign up for the national ID.
