MrBeast revealed that he declined an invitation to explore the Titanic wreckage via a submersible.
The YouTube star talked about the invite he received in a tweet on Sunday, June 25. “I was invited earlier this month to ride the Titanic submarine, I said no. Kind of scary that I could have been on it.”
He then shared a screenshot of the invite sent by his friend via iMessage. “Also, I’m going to the Titanic in a submarine late this month. The team would be stoked to have you along,” the text read.

This comes days after the US Coast Guard confirmed the death of five people aboard a submersible to the Titanic wreckage on June 22 after their vessel suffered a “catastrophic implosion” in the ocean depths.
CNN International reported that the submersible lost contact with its mother ship about an hour and a quarter into its descent to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean on the morning of June 18.
