Man fails to rob nail salon after being ignored by its customers and staff
A robber from Atlanta left a nail salon empty-handed after its customers and staff ignored his demands.
As seen in a CCTV footage uploaded on Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta's Facebook page, a man in a blue hat and sunglasses interrupted a usual day at Nail First on Piedmont Road in an attempt to rob the store on Monday, July 3. He shouted “Everybody get down!” and asked the people inside to surrender their money, but they only stared blankly at him.
The suspect proceeded to the cashier and said: “Get down! Where’s the money?” The staff, who appeared to be talking to someone on the phone, didn’t abide by his demands.
For his final attempt, he again shouted “Everybody give me everything. Where's the money?" and silently looked around before giving up and leaving.
The nail salon staff refused to comment on the matter, according to NBC News.
The Atlanta Police Department is actively searching for the unidentified man, offering a reward of up to $2,000 (over P100,000) to anyone who can provide information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.
