LIST: Here are the nominees for the 2025 Critics Choice Awards

The list of nominees for the 30th Critics Choice Awards has been announced, and the competition is fierce.

This year's list saw a close race with Conclave and Wicked leading with 11 nominations each. Conclave is nominated for Best Picture and Best Acting Ensemble, with Ralph Fiennes recognized in the Best Actor category and Isabella Rossellini up for Best Supporting Actress. Meanwhile, John Chu's Wicked is nominated for Best Acting Ensemble, Best Actress (Cynthia Erivo), Best Supporting Actress (Ariana Grande), Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and more.

10 nominations are also up for Dune: Part Two and Emilia Pèrez, including Best Picture nominations for both films.

The much-anticipated film Gladiator II received four nods, including Best Supporting Actor (Denzel Washington), Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Visual Effects. The sci-fi horror film The Substance, which follows a washed-up celebrity who discovers a mysterious drug that creates a younger version of herself, earned seven nominations at the 30th Critics Choice Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Demi Moore), Best Supporting Actress (Margaret Qualley), Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Hair and Makeup, and Best Visual Effects.

“This year brought us an incredible wealth of storytelling and performances, leading to indescribably close races for nominations,” said CCA CEO Joey Berlin.

“We are honored to be able to celebrate our landmark 30th year of the Critics Choice Awards with this talented group of nominees and are thrilled to bring viewers our best show yet. Knowing how close the balloting for nominations was, we anticipate an exciting evening of high drama on January 12,” he continued.

The winners will be revealed at the Critics Choice Awards gala hosted by Chelsea Handler, which will broadcast live on E! on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The show will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
