Parokya ni Edgar musical is in the works. Here's how to get invites to its special preview
It's confirmed: A musical based on Parokya ni Edgar's music is in the works, and you can get a chance to win an invite to its special preview.
Newport World Resorts, the organizer of the upcoming 2024 musical, announced on Sept. 1 that it is giving the OPM band's fans a chance to score free invites if they can guess the play's title right.
"Be one of the first to experience the upcoming PNE Musical by simply guessing the title of the show!" said organizer NWR Musicals In a Facebook post.
To join, you must first follow NWR Musical's official account on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and stay tuned for its livestream session on Sept. 8 from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Participants must then guess the title in the live comment section.
Each platform's first 30 users who can guess the title correctly, NWR Musicals said, will be invited to the special preview ahead of the 2024 show.
The organizer noted that the accounts must be legitimate and public, meaning dummy accounts aren't counted.
Rumors about the new musical began circulating online when the cast of Ang Huling El Bimbo sang a portion of Parokya ni Edgar's hit song Harana during their show's final curtain call last July 23. Behind them was a screen with the text, "Abangan 2024."
Details about the Parokya Ni Edgar musical, including its plot, showtime, and ticket selling, haven't been announced yet.
