Raven Doctor of the Philippines proudly waved the country's flag with her third runner-up finish in the recently concluded Miss Eco Teen International 2024 in Hurghada, Egypt, on Oct. 31 (PH Time).

The 18-year-old Palaweña sustained the country's streak in the pageant since the inception of the competition in 2019. She was also proclaimed as Miss Eco Teen Asia 2024.

Aside from her runner-up title, she bagged the first runner-up spot in the pageant's Eco Dress Prime challenge, wearing an eco-friendly and modern take on the classic Filipino terno designed by Robert Gonzales. She was also among the Top 5 finalists for Miss Talent.

Meanwhile, Canada's Cece Wu clinched the coveted crown while Indonesia's Meily Herlina, Serbia's Dtuga Pratilja, and China's Jacklyn Saddler hailed as first runner-up, second runner-up, and fourth runner-up, respectively.

During the evening gown competition, the National University-Manila student strutted the runway with Nel Claveria's stunning white gown inspired by "the gentle ocean breeze and sunlit waves along the sandy shore."

The gown was also embellished with an intricate beadwork of silver rhinestones and white ceramic beads that contour the silhouette, embodying the "harmony between life and nature" while serving as a "powerful reflection of the resilience and strength of today's young generation."

In August, Doctor was appointed by The Miss Philippines to represent the country in the global tilt for teenagers, replacing Hanna Uyan.

She was among the Top 20 candidates for this year's Miss Universe Philippines pageant, where Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan clinched the title.

In 2020, Roberta Tamondong was the first Miss Eco Teen International titleholder from the Philippines, while Tatyana Austria and Bea McLelland previously came close at first runner-up in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
