Vice Ganda says she enjoys 'joyful' married life: 'Malalim iyong kasiyahan ko'
Vice Ganda said she's living not just a "happy" married life with Ion Perez but a "joyful" one that.
In a guest appearance over the Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast on July 5, the Kapuso reporter asked Vice how her marriage is, to which she responded warmly.
"Masayang-masaya ako ngayon," she said. "Ibang klase iyong joy na meron ako ngayon. Kung dati happy ako, ngayon joyful. Alam mo iyon?"
Vice noted that getting married has deepened her level of happiness.
"Mas hindi siya superficial, mas malalim siya," she said. "Iyong sayang binibitbit mo tapos hinahanap-hanap mo, ganoon siya kalalim."
The It's Showtime host said she had prayed for that kind of happiness before and is thankful to have realized it.
"Iyon iyong ipinagdasal ko, iyong nararamdaman ko ngayon at saka ito iyong estado ng buhay ko na gustong-gusto ko," she said. "Malalim iyong kasiyahan ko."
Vice had a non-legal commitment ceremony with Ion in 2021 at The Little Vegas Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. Philippine laws have yet to recognize same-sex marriage or union.
Vice is among the main hosts of ABS-CBN's It's Showtime, which transferred to GMA Network's GTV on July 1 after its block time agreement with TV5 expired on June 30.
During the show's Kapuso debut, she rode a helicopter from ABS-CBN headquarters to GMA's and delivered her performance upon landing.
