‘Real-life Darna’ Angel Locsin flies to Leyte to personally help Agaton evacuees
Angel Locsin flew to Leyte to extend a helping hand to Filipinos affected by Typhoon Agaton.
In some photos that have been making the rounds online, the actress—who has been dubbed “real-life Darna” by netizens—is seen giving relief packs to typhoon evacuees in Baybay City on Monday, April 18.
Accompanied by her husband, film producer Neil Arce, she personally delivered aid to the locals in Baybay City Senior High School.
The philanthropist also posted a photo of herself making the finger heart pose with the Baybay City signage as her background. “Akap,” she wrote in the caption.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the Typhoon Agaton death toll has reached 172. At least 110 people are still missing after the devastation.
