After months of waiting, the Philippines finally met the new Binibining Pilipinas queens.

On Sunday, July 7, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) crowned two of its 40 candidates—Myrna Esguerra of Abra and Jasmin Bungay of Pampanga—who will bring the Philippine flag on the international stages of the Miss International and Miss Globe pageants, respectively, happening later this year.

After showcasing their charms and stage presence from the swimsuit and national costume competitions, the 40 binibinis impressed the judges one last time with their wits, beauty, and elegance at the grand coronation night.

In this diamond jubilee edition, the two winners will take over the reins from current titleholders Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023 Anna Valencia Lakrini. They will also receive new crowns and P1 million each. Meanwhile, the runner-ups will receive P400,000 each.

The hosts of the evening were Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss International 2016 and actress Kylie Verzosa, Miss Universe 2014 semifinalist MJ Lastimosa, former beauty queen and actress Ruffa Gutierrez, and Miss Grand International 2016 1st runner-up Nicole Cordoves.

The crowd was also given stellar performances from P-pop Kings SB19, TJ Monterde, Maki, and OPM legends Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano.
