4th Impact's GoFundMe page for their 200 dogs is no longer available

Filipino girl group 4th Impact has taken down their GoFundMe for the construction of the "dreamland" for their 200 dogs after they were met with criticism over the fundraising campaign.

The link, posted by the sibling group's eldest sister Elvira, is no longer accessible and will lead to a page that reads "Fundraiser not found." Almira's post on Facebook about the GoFundMe has also been deleted. Originally, the page was titled "Farm Lot for our 200 Shih Tzu dogs."

On the website, the girl group shared how they were given five shih tzu puppies by their fans and have since multiplied in number.  Elvira wrote about the challenges they faced with the pooches such as getting noise complaints from neighbors leading them to "temporarily separate" some of the dogs.

"This separation pains us deeply. You see, each of these dogs [hold] a special place in our hearts...We dream of providing our furry friends with a safe and expansive farm where they can live out their days in happiness and freedom," the 

Their total target for donations was $10,000 (P560,275) and they reached P46,200 on March 2.

4th Impact's campaign received backlash online, with social media users calling them out for their "irresponsible ownership" for allowing the dogs to multiply to 200 and stressing that "backyard breeding" is against Philippine law.

The girl group has yet to issue a statement on the matter.

4th Impact, consisting of sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado, competed in the 12th season of The X Factor UK where they finished in fifth place.
