Asiana Airlines begins direct flights from South Korea to Bohol

Now you can fly direct from Bohol to South Korea via Asiana Airlines.

Bohol Panglao International Airport on Thursday, July 20 made an announcement in a Facebook post about the arrival of flight number OZ 7093 to the province of Bohol.

They said that Asiana Airlines, a South Korean airline, will have direct flights to Bohol every Wednesday and Saturday and "will aim to ramp up direct flights to Bohol in the near future."

"The continued increase in number of flights in BPIA particularly for international flights signifies the increase in demand for passengers and tourists to come here in the province which will eventually result to a boost in economic activities that will benefit us all," it said.

Bohol is well known for its tourist attractions such as the Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Conservatory, and the Loboc River, and is one of the main tourist hubs in Central Visayas. It was also recently named as the first Global Geopark in the Philippines by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Asiana is the third South Korean carrier to offer international flights to Bohol, as the airport also caters to Jeju Air and Air Busan.
