Prince William gives update on Princess Kate Middleton and their kids
Prince William shared a brief update on Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, as well as their children.
During his recent public appearance at James' Place Newcastle in England on April 30, the royal member was asked how Kate and their kids—Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—are doing as Kate continues to battle an unspecified cancer.
In a video making the rounds on social media, a woman can be seen telling William: "Do you mind if I ask how your wife and children are?" To which, he replied, "All doing well. Thank you."
"And obviously Catherine?" the woman added. "We're all doing well," William said.
William returned to public duties in April. He was seen visiting a food charity and youth center after being out of sight since Kate revealed she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy in March.
Kate underwent abdominal surgery last January and has been on a break from public duties to continue her recovery. She hasn’t appeared in a public event since December.
Kate didn’t disclose her condition to the public at the time, though a source told NBC News that it was non-cancerous.
Tests after her surgery, however, showed that cancer had been present.
She was subsequently advised to undergo preventive chemotherapy and is now in the early stages of the treatment.
Kensington Palace said Kate would return to official duties "when she is cleared to do so by her medical team."
