LOOK: The Miss Philippines officially announces this year's delegates
The Miss Philippines announced the list of candidates that will be competing in their inaugural pageant.
On their social media accounts, The Miss Philippines Organization shared photos of the finalists for the prestigious national beauty competition.
Hundreds of women ages 18-32 went through the screening process on six consecutive Saturdays in August. The final screening for the competition was held last Saturday and yielded familiar faces, including 2022 Miss Universe Philippines semi-finalist Chantal Schmidt and Miss Philippines Earth 2023 runner-up Alcea de Jesus.
The pageant, founded by Jonas Gaffud and Miss Universe Philippines organization national director Shamcey Supsup, will hold its first coronation show in October, as part of the month-long celebration of The Filipino Festival. The event will also include the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide competition.
During the pageant, the delegates will compete for three title: Miss Supranational, Miss Charm, and Miss Asia Pacific, and serve as the representatives to the international pageant.
