A female gymnast from China who won silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics was seen helping out at her family's restaurant business a week after her podium finish.

Videos circulating online, as shared by several outlets worldwide including the Chinese state-run CGTN, showed Zhou Yaqin serving bowls of food to customers.

The restaurant is reportedly located in her hometown of Hengyang in the Hunan province.

Customers didn't seem to notice the 18-year-old Olympian, in a white shirt and jogging pants, right in front of them.

Yaqin earned several praises in the comments section.

"For they have tons of excellent athletes and they're taught with a good old tradition of humbleness that costs nothing," a Facebook user wrote on CGTN's video.

"Oh, wow! that was so nice of you young lady...you are raised well by your parents," another Facebook user said.

"Such a genuine moment! Love how she stays grounded after her success!" a TikTok user said.

"Together with the moment of biting her silver medal, this shines her brilliant genuineness and personality," another TikTok user said.

Yaqin won silver at the women's balance beam event during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Italy's Alice D'Amato and Manila Esposito won the gold and bronze, respectively.

During the games, Yaqin became a social media darling as she was supposedly "clueless" about the tradition of biting the medal and only followed D'Amato and Esposito's lead. She even shared screenshots of hilarious comments on Instagram.

Levi Jung-Ruivivar, Emma Malabuyo, and Aleah Finnegan represented the Philippines in the same sport at Paris 2024, the first time the country had women's artistic gymnastics delegates in 60 years.
