Bye, Felicia! Celebs, icons bid adieu as Trump is banished from Twitter
A number of celebrities erupted in celebration after US President Donald Trump was permanently banished from Twitter.
Twitter announced on Jan. 9 the permanent suspension of Trump’s account “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”
Trump was stripped of his bully pulpit following the brief takeover of his extremist supporters of the US Capitol. During the incident, Trump made statements on social media that encouraged the mob.
American model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen eloquently and simply posted a string of "hahaha" in uppercase along with a photo of Trump's suspended account.

Over on Instagram, Actress Vanessa Hudgens shared a screenshot of her and ex-boyfriend Zach Efron from a scene in High School Musical. The photo shows Zac’s character putting a necklace around Hudgens where she comments, “T as in Troy?” To which he responds, “No Gabriella, T as in Trump’s Twitter is suspended.”
One of the most stinging clapbacks came from no less than Hillary Clinton. Clinton shared a previous Tweet during the 2016 elections where she tweeted a message to Trump, “Delete your account.”
Clinton shared the old Tweet along with a checkmark emoji.
