Kat Alano has apparently reacted to Vhong Navarro's wife, Tracy Bautista, shortly after the latter issued a statement amid the actor's resurfaced rape case and detainment.

In a series of Tweets, Alano defended her decision to call out the it's Showtime host and actor on social media.

"Ang daming galit. Binayaran daw ako, laos na daw ako, sawsawera. 8 years na ako nagsasalita," the former VJ began.

"Puro bashing lang ang natanggap ko. Sa tingin niyo worth it magsalita para inaabuso ako ng mga fans niya? Sa tingin niyo lalaban talaga ang ibang victims pag nakita nila ugali niyo!"

She went on to allude to Bautista's statement saying that Navarro is innocent.

"And ang nakakalungkot pa, BABAE pa talaga ang lumalaban para sa kanya. Hindi niyo naiisip ang mga kapwa niyong babae?"

"Akala niyo madali to? Wala akong media company. Wala akong team. Wala akong bayad. Truth lang ang meron ako. Alam ko galit kayo, pero magisip din kayo," she added.

Talking to the press on Sept. 21, Navarro's wife said that she will fight for her husband's freedom and that the actor had been making it up to Tanya for the past eight years.

"Gusto ko lang sabihin na alam naman nila. Alam nila, so sakin may kasalanan si Vhong. Sakin—nuon mula ngayon. Sakin siya may atraso, pinatawad ko yung tao and for the last eight years bumabawi siya. We got married."

"Yun yung akala ko nung eight years na yun tapos na yung kaso and nagpakasal pa kami. Sobrang importante nito sakin kasi bumabawi siya then this happened," Bautista added.

Alano first spoke about Navarro's detainment on Sept. 19, saying that she saw a "glimpse of justice" after 17 years. She tweeted it after the actor was issued warrants of arrest for acts of lavisciousness and rape in connection to the 2014 case filed by model and stylist, Deniece Cornejo.

“I can finally feel peace today. God is good all the time. Justice, finally after 17 years.”

"After 17 years... Finally a glimpse of justice. People still thinking it’s all about money and attention. What if you were fed lies by the people who had power, and you ACTUALLY condemned the victim? Think about what you did to her if that was the truth," she wrote in a separate tweet.

She followed it up with another tweet alluding that she and more women were allegedly raped by an actor that "#rhymeswithwrong"

A number of personalities and fans have since supported Alano, including actress Alessandra De Rossi, who offered a Bible verse for the VJ.

Navarro is currently detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) detention center in Taguig for the non-bailable warrant of arrest for rape. His legal team is filing pleadings before the Court of Appeals and the Taguig RTC to petition the bail.
