Ivana Alawi revealed her worst date experience—and it was probably with a celebrity.
In an interview uploaded on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube channel on Sunday, March 22, Ivana was asked about the worst date she has experienced. The 24-year-old actress and YouTuber shared that it was with a guy who was rude to a waiter who served them at a restaurant.
“May time kasi na we were eating in a restaurant. Pinagsisigawan niya yung waiter. Pinagmumura niya. Parang siguro he was trying to impress me. Pero siguro hindi niya alam sobrang na-turn off ako dun, the way that he treated that waiter,” she said.
Ivana thought that if her date was disrespectful to the waiter, then he could be disrespectful to anyone.
“Sabi ko, kung ganyan siya magtrato sa waiter, di ba, he can treat me, anyone else, like that. Like, he could treat me, he could treat my family,” she said.
Ivana said she walked out of her date after witnessing this. She also talked to the waiter. “Sabi ko, ‘Sorry, ha, sorry.’ Ganun-ganun. Kasi ayoko nang nakakita ng ganun.”
At this point, Toni asked Ivana if the rude guy she had a date with was a celebrity.
Ivana smiled, trying to dismiss the question.
“Feeling ko artista. Ah, talaga?” Toni continued prodding.
Ivana replied: “Hindi ko alam. Baka maghulaan na naman sila n’yan.”
The popular YouTuber said in her interview that she is currently single.
“I like having a private relationship,” Ivana said. “Kasi feeling ko, kapag in-out agad namin, bilis siyang masisira kasi, lalo na kunwari yung lalaki affected sa mga basher or affected sa mga comments… Whether it’s showbiz or non-showbiz, I want it to be private.”
Ivana added that she sees herself having a family in five years. “Gusto ko kung sino yung next na relationship ko, siya na yung magiging asawa ko, siya na yung magiging tatay ng mga anak ko,” she said.
Ivana, an actress who has starred in a number of shows on GMA-7 and ABS-CBN, is currently one of the top YouTubers in the Philippines, having reached 12 million followers this month.
