Three women are now the best of friends after discovering they had the same boyfriend
Finding out that your significant other is having an affair behind your back is perhaps one of the worst feelings out there. While some people seem to direct their anger towards their partner's lovers more for wrecking their relationship, these three women did something different when they found out they were dating the same man.
Morgan Tabor told USA Today that she had been in a relationship with her boyfriend for a while now, but there was an uneasy feeling that made her think she may not be the only woman in his life. She found out her hunch was true when she started investigating things, and through social media, she found out that her boyfriend was also in a relationship with not one, but two other women named Abi Roberts and Bekah King.
Instead of getting mad at the women, Tabor reached out to them and confronted their cheating partner together before dumping him for good. Despite their odd and awkward way of getting to know each other through their ex, Tabor shared that an unexpected friendship bloomed between them.
"We all quickly realized that we were going to be good friends. There was just this kind of knowing deep inside of us. It's like, these girls are special," she said.
After finding out that they all had a goal of living on the road and traveling to various places, the three of them decided to make their dream a reality by purchasing a 30-year-old school bus and transforming it into a living space that's perfect for adventures on the road.
The bus took months to be renovated, and once they were done, they named themselves "The BAM Bus" after their initials and hit the road, traveling to places like the Grand Teton National Park, the Great San Dunes, and Yellowstone National Park.
"I think one of the beautiful things about living on the road is that we're never in a stable, comfortable environment, which isn't fun a lot of the time, but it really pushes us to learn how we can best support each other," King said.
She highlighted the importance of having the right friendships with individuals who can uplift you in your darkest moments.
"It’s very important and empowering to find a group of women that you can count on. Female friendships really do have a lot of power in them once you've really found your group," King told the news outlet.
The trio stressed that they wouldn't change a thing despite the circumstances of how they met.
“I don't think any of us would be the same people that we are today if it hadn't happened. I think we're all pretty proud of the growth that we've had and the experiences that have led us to where we are right now," Roberts said.
