This 10-year-old girl, who owns two successful businesses, could retire at 15 as a multimillionaire
Dreaming of an early retirement? A 10-year-old girl from Australia is all set to achieve that at the early age of 15—as a multimillionaire.
With the help of mompreneur Roxy Jacenko, Pixie Curtis manages two successful businesses: toy company Pixie’s Pix—which sold out all its products two days after its 2021 launch—as well as Pixie’s Bows, which offers hair accessories, jewelry, and fidget toys, among other kids products.
Disclosing that she can retire by her 15th birthday in an interview, Jacenko said, “Our family joke has been I’ll be working till I’m 100 and Pixie will have retired at 15—I certainly know who’s smarter.” The businesswoman added that Curtis remains to be “a polite, caring, and grounded young girl” even after achieving significant feats as a business owner.
“She’s got many dreams which include a house by the beach and a Lamborghini SUV in the garage, so she’ll be working for a lot longer and harder to get that but she’s well on her way,” she shared.
“Now, the important lesson is to teach her to invest well and not squander her money,” continued Jacenko, who has likewise established a name for herself in the public relations industry.
The business mogul emphasized that she has never put pressure on her daughter to take over the flourishing brands and keep them blooming. “I have said it from day one: the moment Pixie doesn’t want to be front-facing or be involved with Pixie’s Pix and Pixie’s Bows, then we will reassess. But for now, she is happy, learning so much,” she concluded.
