Confirmed: Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have tied the knot
It’s official: celebrity sweethearts Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are man and wife.
Mercado and Trillo confirmed their marriage on GMA 7’s 24 Oras on Tuesday, Nov. 16, however, it remains unclear when they actually got married. According to the report, the couple will share more details about their civil wedding soon.
The news comes after Mercado posted a photo of her with Trillo as they wore matching white tuxedos in an intimate garden wedding. She captioned her post, “Forever, you & me” with two heart emojis.
The actress, however, deleted the post, as of this writing.
After Jennylyn's now-deleted post, the couple have yet to confirm their wedding, even as fans have been posting congratulatory messages on social media.
Mercado and Trillo announced their engagement in a tell-all interview with GMA 7's 24 Oras on Oct. 29. Shortly after their announcement, the couple revealed that they’re expecting their first child on their YouTube channel.
The couple earlier revealed in an exclusive interview with Preview magazine that they planned to tie the knot through “a civil wedding held at an events place close to home,” where only their immediate family and closest friends will be invited.
Mercado and Trillo started dating in 2010, but they broke up in the following year. The couple eventually got back together in 2014.
The couple both have children from their previous relationships. Trillo has a son named Calix with former girlfriend Carlene Aguilar. Meanwhile, Mercado has a son named Alex Jazz with ex-boyfriend Patrick Garcia.
