Do you want to become an international student and study overseas?
Make it happen! Taiwan is offering scholarship programs for Filipino students this 2024
For many, the dream of an international academic journey may sound like an unreachable star, mostly due to limited resources. However, countries like Taiwan, through the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines, offer scholarship opportunities that can transform those dreams into reality.
The office announced on Facebook that it is providing another set of scholarships for Filipino students who want to pursue their studies—be it bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees—or learn Mandarin Chinese under its 2024 Taiwan Scholarships offerings.
The government of Taiwan noted that each applicant can only apply for one scholarship program among the listed offerings and must process first their university admission to their preferred university in Taiwan.
"They also have to comply with and submit necessary scholarship requirements to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines for review and recommendation based on the indicated deadlines of each program. It is important to note that it is ineligible to apply if the applicant currently has enrolled in another program in Taiwan," it said.
The guidelines and additional requirements can be found here. Check out the list of programs below:
