Overall, tech giant Apple in the US was named TIME's best company in 2024, taking the spot from Microsoft in last year's ranking. It was followed by other distinguished firms such as Accenture, Microsoft, BMW Group, and Amazon, respectively.

TIME explained that they based the ranking on a formula of employee-satisfaction surveys, revenue growthm and environmental, social, and corporate governance data.

"Many of the top companies have made similar positive societal impacts while making money and keeping their employees happy at the same time. It’s not necessarily something that their investors are clamoring for; that they do it anyway is what sets them apart," they stated.
