New Year, New Boo—at least for these celebrities. 2020 may be a year of uncertainty, but one thing's for sure, romance still exists.
While some celebrities like to keep a tight-lip about their relationship status, others are ready to share their milestone to the world by making it IG-official. (You know what they say, announcing it on social media is like introducing your partner to your family!)
This time, a couple of stars have changed their status to "In a relationship" by sharing photos with their special someone and a New Year's greeting. Check them out below!
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin

After their hit K-drama series CLOY ended, rumors about the two getting cozy with each other sparked. Eight months onths later, their agencies finally share that they are in a relationship.
"Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin met through their projects, and after the end of their drama, their positive feelings towards one another developed into a romantic relationship," Hyun Bin's agency VAST Entertainment said in a statement.
Moments after the announcement, Son Ye Jin posted a photo of a bouquet of flowers with a message saying, "I’m thankful to have been able to meet a good person," pertaining to Hyun Bin.
Diego Loyzaga and Barbie Imperial
It can be recalled that the couple were allegedly spotted on a date in Antipolo last November. Netizens also noticed that Loyzaga left a comment on Imperial’s bikini photo on Instagram.
And come New Year's Day, Loyzaga posts on social media his New Year's message to confirm the news. "Happy new year to us. Thanks for making the end of my 2020 memorable. Lets gooo 2021," he wrote.
Loyzaga's step mom, Sunshine Cruz approves of the news, saying, “You both deserve to be happy! Happy New Year Diegs and my beautiful Cai.”
Angelica Panganiban and new boyfriend
"Hugot Queen" Angelica Panganiban is single no more! The actress finally revealed that she is in a relationship through a post, where she is seen kissing a mystery man during the NYE countdown.
"Kung isa kang pelikuka, sana, wala kang ending," Panganiban wrote.
Panganiban's last relationship was in 2016 with John Lloyd Cruz, who, in a vlog by Kim Chiu, apparently ghosted the actress. "Bakit nasaan ba siya ngayon? Nahanap na ba siya? Kung nahanap ka na, baka naman puwede magparamdam ka at magpaalam ka one last time,” Panganiban jokingly said.
The commediane was also recently linked with her childhood lover, Carlo Aquino, who later on she had a falling out with.
Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon
Can exes get back together? Certainly! Just look at Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon.
The former lovers were together for over a year more than a decade ago, but has remained friends ever since. They reunited in 2019 for the film Culion, and news of rekindling of their relationship started to go around.
Now, Soriano shares the happy news by greeting her followers a Happy New Year "from our family to yours!"

Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas
The rumors are true: Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas are in a relationship!
Hartley made headlines in 2019 when he filed for divorce from Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause after two years of marriage. On the reality show, Stause claimed that Hartley had broken up with her thru text message, just moments before it was all over the news.
After the whole divorce drama early this year, the This Is Us star was being linked to his former The Young and the Restless co-star, Pernas.
And now, the couple made their relationship Instagram official on NYE. "Last minutes of 2020 here in LA. Bring on 2021! Happy New Year," wrote Hartley, who posted a photo with his co-star.
Pernas also posted a photo, "Sayonara 2020, it's been real. Happy New Year from our quarantine den to yours."
