Demi Lovato's launches their own sex toy: ‘We are all deserving of orgasms’
Demi Lovato wants to help you get off—literally. The non-binary artist broke into the sex toy business with the release of their own vibrator, the Demi Wand.
"I wanted to create my own sex toy to take the stigma away from pleasure and to take your sexual relationship to the next level," Lovato wrote on Instagram.
They shared a photo of the compact yellow Demi Wand, which was developed with sex toy company Bellesa. The 5.5-inch device, made for all body types, is concealed in a discreet clamshell charging case that seamlessly blends in with other accessories and is compact enough to fit in your bag.
Priced at $79, the vibrator brings quiet, "orgasm-inducing vibrations" in eight speeds and is made of smooth silicone for shower use and easy cleaning.
“There is nothing more empowering than taking your pleasure into your own hands. We have spent far too long pretending we are not sexual beings — it’s time for us to put this stigma to rest. We are all deserving of pleasure. We are all deserving of orgasms,” the 29-year-old singer said on the Nov. 8 episode of their 4D podcast.
“I’m so proud and so excited to be doing this alongside the innovators at Bellesa, a company that continues to disrupt the adult entertainment and the sex tech industry, and values sexual empowerment and self-love as deeply as I do."
Aside from Lovato, other celebrities have released their own sex toys. Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop launched a vibrator on Valentine's Day while singer Lily Allen introduced the Liberty vibrator last year.
