Your vibrator can now alert you when your food delivery is going to come

Change is coming… for both your sexual and gustatory pleasure.

More than a year into lockdowns and stay-at-home orders because of the pandemic, people have been accustomed to ordering food online from their favorite restaurants. And you know what else is in demand right now? The use of teledildonics, or those smart devices that allow long-distance partners to still be intimate, albeit remotely.

A company called CamSoda is using the power of internet-connected toys, like the trusty vibrator, through “Grubuzz” that alerts its user the status of one’s order by sending vibrations to the toy.

With the different stages of one’s order, the vibrations’ frequency will gradually increase. For example, when the restaurant receives the order, the toy’s vibration will start slowly. The vibration will progressively increase as the driver picks up the food and leaves the restaurant with the order until the driver gets to one’s door.

Users in the United States have to obtain a curated e-mail address from CamSoda, which they will hook to their delivery apps (like UberEats, GrubHub, DoorDash or Postmates). When an e-mail is sent from their delivery app updating them on the status of their order, it will then be sent to the CamSoda-generated e-mail that will simultaneously set off a vibration to their teledildonic device so they may pleasure themselves (or not) while they wait.

According to CamSoda, a livestreaming platform for adult webcams and non-adult livestreams, it is also integrating the Grubuzz technology with restaurant chains across the United States.

With the technology, customers who are wearing a teledildonic device, while waiting for their takeaway orders, will be alerted through the device they are wearing rather than the bulky handheld trackers that buzz in the hand.

Its website says Grubuzz is initially launched for females only but a male version will be available in the next few months.

In 2018, CamSoda also launched RubGrub, a vibrator that placed a delivery order for a large cheese pizza for users following an orgasm.
