Joshua Garcia is now on TikTok, and his fans are beside themselves with excitement.
Serving sunshine to hundreds of thousands of his supporters was actor Joshua Garcia as he recently joined the video sharing platform to the delight of his fans.
In less than 24 hours since Garcia joined TikTok, his verified account @iam.joshuagarcia got over 700,000 followers (and counting) and more than two million likes. His account also shows that he is not following anyone yet at the moment.
In the first video he uploaded, the 24-year-old actor did his version of the Ginseng Strip 2002 trend, where he lip synched and gestured to the 2013 song by Swedish rapper Yung Lean.

As of this writing, the 11-second video has over 11 million views and more than 54,000 comments.
Garcia currently stars in the ABS-CBN teleserye Viral. It was also recently unveiled that he will join the cast of the Darna TV series, where he will play a police officer/EMT named Brian Samonte Robles alongside Jane de Leon as Darna and Zaijan Jaranilla as Ding.
After learning Garcia joined the platform, fans naturally trooped to the comments section to express their kilig and excitement.
TikTok star Esnyr Ranollo wrote in all caps to his excitement, “Hi nag-bebenta po ako ng SD Card, baka gusto mong gumawa ng memories with me?” Upon realizing Garcia liked his comment, Ranollo reacted, “Ni-like ni Joshua OMG Like mo ba ako?!!! Eme hahaha.”
Social media personality, Alex Gonzaga, was among the first ones to jump in the comments section with a word with Garcia’s fans. “Oh tapos na pila, magsihugas na kayo ng pinggan at maglinis,” she said in jest.
Many commented “ang gwapo” and “ang cute mo,” while others described Garcia in the video as “Amoy Johnson’s baby powder.” There are some who could not contain their excitement that they wrote expletives together with the question, “bakit ang pogi mo?”
No wonder why the views of Garcia’s first TikTok video is racking up millions as some fans in the comments section admit to watching the videos over and over again. “Hindi nakakasawa ulit-ulitin,” one fan said. Another said she has shared the video to her friends multiple times.
Other TikTok mainstays who expressed their excitement over Garcia joining the platform include Mimiyuh, who wrote “Tabi ako na ‘to ser Joshua, you need water?”; and Pipay, who simply typed “Hi b3h.”
With Garcia hopping on the bandwagon, his excited fans will for sure be on the lookout for more of his videos soon.
