Naomi Campbell welcomes her first baby at 50

Naomi Campbell is now a mom to a little girl.

The 50-year-old supermodel shared a photograph of her newborn's feet on social media, captioning it: "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."

Campbell’s mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell, also shared the happy news, congratulating her daughter on social media. “Congratulations to my daughter Naomi on the birth of her daughter, I’m beyond thrilled as I’ve waited a longtime to be grandmother.”

The supermodel has kept her personal life private for the last couple of years, but has been very open about wanting to have children.

Previously, she has been engaged twice but never married. In 1998, she was engaged to Italian businessman Flavio Briatore. However, five years later, they separated. She also got engaged to Russian businessman Vladislav Doronin but the couple split in 2013.

In an interview with the Evening Standard in 2017, Campbell said: “I think about having children all the time. But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want.”
