March with Pride!

The Quezon City government held a special graduation ceremony for LGBTQIA+ students who weren't allowed to march in their gender-affirming outfits during their school's official culmination activities.

Actress, TV host, and LGBT rights advocate KaladKaren shared some photos and videos from the said "graduation rights" on Saturday, June 22, where she served as guest of honor and speaker.

"Isang special graduation ceremony para sa mga members ng LGBTQIA+ community ang handog ng QC government para sa mga hindi naka martsa sa sariling graduation dahil sa kanilang Gender Expression. Napakarami pong dumalo! Saludo ako sa Quezon City! Maraming salamat po. Happy Pride!" she captioned her post, which included a photo of her with QC Mayor Joy Belmonte.

The program, dubbed "Graduation Rights: March with Pride in QC," was conducted in celebration of Pride Month as well as the 85th anniversary of Quezon CIty.
