Here's what Andi Eigenmann eats to maintain a fit body
Andi Eigenmann is known to be a major fitspiration for all. But her healthy lifestyle would probably not be possible if she had not been doing proper exercise and maintaining a balanced diet.
So what does Andi eat to stay in her current physique?
In her Instagram post, the celebrity mom posted a series of pictures and wrote about the food she consumes, which includes a mix of sweets and carbs such as a smoothie, some croissants, twisted doughnuts, among others.
"I eat what I want, without being reckless. I lean towards the healthier options but I still give in to my cravings, even if they are 'junk.' This is how I'm able to go about my fitness journey in a sustainable way," Andi wrote.
Hoping to become a certified nutritionist one day, she emphasized that carbs are not the enemy, noting that it's important to not leave out certain food groups because they all serve a vital role for the body.
"Constantly making better choices with the food I eat, eventually led me to actually enjoying this type of food way more, and if you are loving the journey, you will be glad to stay on track!" Andi wrote.
She went on to reveal that while she has received a lot of praises from people about how she seemingly lost weight in just a short time, but it actually took her two years to lose 60 pounds.
"I feel like it seemed like it flew by so quickly because I put a limit and set new goals each time. This way, it didnt feel like I was doing it forever, resulting in feeling like a failure. Listening to my body, and not torturing it, is why I dont end up 'binge eating all the weight back'—the most common side effect of diet trends," she underscored.
Andi wrote that she approaches her fitness journey in a "holistic" manner in such a way that she tries to consider all aspects of her well-being. She highlights that while "losing the weight" is mostly focused on food, having good exercise, a great mindset, and a healthy lifestyle will help you reach your goal even faster.
Back in February, Andi gave a glimpse of her body's transformation from March 27, 2021 to the present. She showed how her body slowly lost fat as a result of her fitness routines, which includes squats, jumping jacks, push-ups, mountain climbers, and lunges.
"A good TIP to begin: keep a good mindset and lay- out your priorities to allow yourself to stay in this for the long run," Eigenmann wrote in a separate Instagram post.
