LOOK: Heart Evangelista customized a Rolex watch with her own painting
Heart Evangelista just made her Rolex a standout by hand-painting its dial.
On her Instagram post on March 18, the actress-fashion icon shared her latest artwork—a hand-painted dial of Rolex Day-Date in yellow gold.
“My heART frozen in [time],” she wrote in the caption. The painting showed her iconic figures of women who look to come from diverse backgrounds, perfectly fitting women’s month.
According to Rolex’s website, a Rolex Day-Date watch in 36mm has a whopping price of P3,207,500, with its cost changing depending on its dial, bezel, and bracelet. lts dial is available in colors of white mother-of-pearl, champagne, dark grey, green ombré, white, turquoise, carnelian, and diamond-paved.
The luxury piece features a stunning line of Oyster Perpetual with 18 carats of yellow gold, Rolex’s signature fluted bezel, concealed folding Crownclasp, and a President bracelet.
Fans and fellow personalities expressed their admiration for her latest art.
“How cool!!!” fashion influencer Jessica Wang wrote.
“Oh wow! A Rolex Day Date with your painting as the dial! That's having two art pieces on your wrist!” an Instagram user commented.
Another one wrote: “Only a Heart Evangelista can do this to a Rolex Day-Date. Some people might cry over this, but I actually appreciate her artistry. I won't be surprised if a lot of those expensive watch collectors will now want Heart's artwork in their watches.”
Other than her stunning fashion looks, Heart is known to be a talented painter. She also had commissioned works of painting luxury bags of Hermès and Louis Vuitton with celebrity clients including Kim Chiu, Carla Abellana, and Jinkee Pacquiao. Her art reportedly costs P100,000 per piece, and it still doesn't include the cost of the bag.
