Here’s how you can vote to get Celeste Cortesi into the semifinals of Miss Universe 2022
Every vote counts!
The Miss Universe organization has announced that they have opened an online voting poll to help crown the next reigning queen.
In a video posted on the organization's official social media platforms, the current Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu of India, said that viewers of the pageant can help in choosing who succeeds the much-coveted crown.
"We're so close to the 71st Miss Universe competition and I can't believe that the time has almost come for me to give up the crown. The good thing is, you can help crown my successor," Sandhu said.
"We just launched a [poll] for this year's competition and all you need to do is to download the official Miss Universe app and vote for your favorite delegate into the semifinals at the 71st Miss Universe competition. Your first vote is free," she added.
Upon checking the app, PhilSTAR L!fe saw that the voting period is only until Jan. 14 next year, which is the date of the pageant. All you need to do is to look for your preferred candidate and click on the vote button below.
While the first vote is indeed free, you will need to break open your wallets if you want to cast in more votes. The prices range from P48 for 3 votes to P9,700 for 1,000 votes.
More than 80 girls are competing at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, including the Philippines' very own Celeste Cortesi.
An advocate of mental health and a fighter against the malnutrition crisis in the country, the Filipino-Italian beauty is no newbie to the world of pageantry as she previously represented the Philippines at the Miss Earth competition in 2018.
