Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez go cottegecore in their prenup photos
It's only a matter of weeks 'til Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez exchange their "I Do's"!
The couple finally shared their official prenup photos on their respective social media accounts for everyone to see—and it checks all the boxes that make up the cottegecore aesthetic.
Photographer Pat Dy reveals on Instagram that looking for the "sweet spot" that matches the couple's vibe is very important in every shoot. If you recall, Dy took the prenup photos of Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsey, which were released last week. From the moody and sensuous shots in the mountain, his team went to the fields at El Jardin De Zaida in San Juan, Batangas for a lighter, romantic vibe for Abellana and Rodriguez.
"It's always about finding that sweet spot (photography wise) that's appropriate for my couples," wrote Dy on his Instagram. "From shooting on a mountain with a dark editorial, high contrast look. This time, a much lighter mood with Tom and Carla for their engagement shoot. I always remind myself that its always about my subjects over any photography approach," he continued.
In one of their layouts, the couple kept it romantic and sweet. Abellana wore a Victorian-inspired lacy white dress with straw hat, while Rodriguez donned a beige suit.
Abellana and Rodriguez also channeled their countryside glamor in a long floral dress paired with white cowboy boots, and gray co-ords and sandals.
For their third and last layout, the Kapuso stars finally changed into their formalwear—Rodriguez wearing a coat and tie, and Abellana wearing an off-shoulder tulle gown.
The couple is set to wed on Oct. 23, 2021 at the Madre De Dios Chapel in Tagaytay Midlands.
