PHOTOS: 70th Miss Universe contestants sizzle at swimsuit competition of pageant prelims
The preliminary competition of the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel begins with the swimsuit competition. And as early as now, we can tell who among this year’s 80 candidates are crowd favorites to win the crown.
As expected, Philippines’ Beatrice Luigi Gomez had loud applause from the audience. Israel’s Noa Cochva, too, got the support of the local audience. Thailand’s Anchilee Scott-Kemmis and USA’s Elie Smith captivated the audience as well.
Carson Kressley and Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza, hosts of the preliminary competition, announced that there will be special awards given at the end of the event—a first in the history of Miss Universe.
