Japan’s Don Quijote now ships to the Philippines—here's what you can buy
We may not be able to travel to Japan yet, but Don Quijote is making things easier for us as they now ship to the Philippines!
Due to popular demand, Japan's biggest discount store, Don Quijote or Donki, has decided to expand its delivery service, offering their tax-free grocery items, souvenirs, and other kawaii stuff from about 300 stores to Filipinos and Indonesians—straight from Japan!
"Thank you very much for visiting our website," the discount chain announced on their official Facebook page last March 15, 2021.
To shop, visit Donki's official website, fix the country and language settings, create an account, and voila—you can now shop from the comfort of your own home! Plus, when checking out, you may choose to have it shipped by sea or EMS (Express Mail Service). You can also read more about it in their user guide.
What's more is that they currently have an ongoing campaign offering shipping fee discounts. From April 4 to 7, get up to 1,000JPY discount for purcheses over 12,000 JPY, or 500 JPY discount for purchases over 6,000 JPY.
