All the show-stopping looks of Philippines' Tracy Maureen Perez at the 70th Miss World
Tracy Maureen Perez turned heads at the Miss World competition in showstopping looks.
As she represented the Philippines at the 70th edition of the tilt held on Thursday, Mar. 17 in Puerto Rico, she left the audience in awe not only of her Filipina beauty but also of her stunning outfits.
The prestigious night started with a spectacular display of national costumes, where our very own bet put the spotlight on Philippine mythology in an Axel Que creation. Taking inspiration from mythological creature Mayari—the moon goddess and daughter of Bathala—the designer previously shared that his work “incorporated a lot of traditional forms as the base silhouette, with slight exaggerations in the proportion and volume.” It was finished off with white and purple moon flowers alongside some pearls and tassels for an elevated look.
All the dazzle didn’t stop there: for the introduction, she stunned in a blue evening gown designed by UAE-based Pinoy designer Harvey Cenit, featuring glitters and jewels in blue.
The Cebuana beauty, like the other candidates, kept things simple yet timeless later on in a short dress with a double slit. She amped up her overall look with wavy hair and dangling earrings.
Perez concluded her journey to the crown with a Top 12 finish. Karolina Bielawska of Poland was crowned Miss World, followed by first runner-up Shree Saini (United States) and second runner-up Olivia Yace of Cote d’Ivoire.
