Céline Dion's gown at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony has about 1,000 hours of work put into it.

ICYMI, the My Heart Will Go On singer made her first performance in four years amid her battle with stiff person syndrome at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on July 26.

As she sang Édith Piaf's Hymne A L'Amour, the singer donned a custom Dior gown which took about 1,000 hours to make, according to Vogue France.

The beaded dress was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and featured intricate details from its embroidered sequins to over 500 meters of fringe studded with thousands of beads.

On Instagram, Dior shared a look at Céline's journey with the gown from her fittings.

"The one and only [Céline Dion] closing the Olympic Games Ceremony in Paris in a custom [Dior] Haute Couture gown we especially created for her," the designer wrote in an Instagram post.

"It was such a pleasure to take part to this special moment and to create this all over embroidered cape dress for this stunning performance."

After her performance, Céline wrote about how honored she was to have taken the stage.

"I'm so happy to be celebrating these amazing athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance," she said.

Lady Gaga also performed at the 2024 games, kicking off the opening ceremony with a pre-recorded number of Mon Truc en Plumes.

Celine disclosed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, which is "a rare, progressive syndrome that affects the nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord," according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

She had to cancel a string of shows scheduled for 2023 and 2024 as she said she was not strong enough to tour.
