Here are the details behind Son Ye-jin’s spectacular wedding gowns
Son Ye-jin’s pre-wedding shoots were to die for, but her radiant gowns during the actual ceremony are the epitome of bridal perfection.
Taking a cue from classic K-drama rom-com, Ye-jin said “I do” to her Crash Landing on You leading man in a whimsical private wedding in Seoul. The “Wedding of the Century” is a glimpse of the BinJin couple’s love—and of course, a sartorial crash course on how to make the bride the center of attention.
The actress graced her wedding day in two breathtaking wedding gowns, and here are the details we’ve found.
Brunella fitted gown (Mira Zwillinger)
Ye-jin exchanged wedding vows in a magnificent gown from Studio Mira Zwillinger, an Israeli luxury brand owned by mother-daughter designer duo Mira and Lihi Zwillinger.
The whimsical Brunella gown comes from the fashion house’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection, and is made with abstract lace fabric from the sweetheart corset to its hem.
What makes this gown one of a kind, however, is that it comes with a detachable off-shoulder topper and tulle overskirt to give the gown a dramatic look. You can see the detachable pieces on Ye-jin’s gown in full view where it was accessorized with a simple white veil.
Interested customers can fill up the “Contact Us” page on Mira Zwillinger’s official website to schedule a fitting session.
Sage A-line gown (Vera Wang)
It’s rare to see a bride wearing a non-white gown on her wedding day, yet Ye-jin pulls off the light-green look to a tee.
During the reception, Ye-jin donned the Sage A-line gown with cap sleeves from Vera Wang’s Spring 2020 collection. The breathtaking gown is made with lace and is partially covered with a dramatic tulle overskirt.
The designer herself also described the gown’s elegant features, namely its “accentuating high neck and delicate cap sleeve accents.”
Sadly, the price is not indicated on Vera Wang’s official website and customers must schedule an appointment.
