LOOK: Paris Hilton marries Carter Reum in a beautiful Oscar dela Renta wedding gown
Paris Hilton has married venture capitalist Carter Reum in a dreamy Oscar dela Renta gown.
The two wed in a ceremony at the Hilton heiress' late gradfather's Bel-Air estate, on Thursday, Nov. 11, a special date for the couple.
“11:11 has always been my favourite time of day,” Paris told Vogue. “It’s my reminder to make a wish and be open to miracles. This date is special to Carter and I – it represents our love story, which both of us knew was meant to be.”
Hilton wore a custom Oscar de la Renta long-sleeved gown designed by Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim—one of the several dresses she wore that night—which she paired with a lacy veil.
The ballgown, which has a high neckline and long sleeves, is covered in ivory pressed flowers that were crafted and hand-embroidered by eight modistes over 1,400 hours. Her ball skirt is made with over 20 layers of tulle that drape atop a crinoline petticoat.
Hilton says of the gown, "I love how it turned out. I wanted something that was timeless, elegant, chic, and iconic, and I am so happy.”
For her reception, the 40-year-old TV personality changed into another Oscar dela Renta number, a custom hand-draped taffeta cocktail dress with 3D floral embroidery.
Hilton and Reum have been together since late 2019.
On her 40th birthday last Feb. 17, the former The Simple Life star shared the news of the engagement.
She tweeted: "When you find your soulmate, you don't just know it. You feel it."
"This weekend, Carter dropped to one knee. & I said yes, yes to forever. There's no one I'd rather spend forever with," Hilton continued.
