JLo tells off bashers she never got Botox 'for the 500 millionth time'
“For the 500 millionth time, I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!!” Jennifer Lopez clapped back at an Instagram user after she accused the global superstar of undergoing Botulinum toxin or Botox treatment.
On Jan. 16, JLo uploaded a bare-faced video of herself on Instagram, flaunting her dewy, glowing complexion which, she said, was a result of using That Limitless Glow Multitasking Mask from her own skincare line, JLo Beauty.
“Okay just took off the mask. Honestly, I cannot even see a line on my face. It is glowy and gorgeous and tight and yummy, and like, oh my god, this is the best mask that I have ever, ever tried,” the American actress-singer said.
“This is gonna be the top-selling mask in the world,” she continued. “And that ear situation, that pulls it up, makes all the difference. And there’s nothing dripping down my face, it’s not messy. It’s just beautiful.”
“And ten years, I feel it took ten years off my face,” she added.
JLo’s face mask aims to tighten and lift the skin using its two-part mold infused with active ingredients such as “olive complex, Japanese rice cake, yeast-derived ferments, and sugar-derived matrix,” according to its website.
While the 51-year-old star has, indeed, enviable skin that only seems to age backward, many netizens are not too convinced that the mask gave her that “JLo glow.”
“Wow!!! Do you have to use botox and fillers before or after the mask? Asking for a friend,” one Instagram user commented,
“Of course she does Botox. Her forehead hasn’t moved for years. Frozen. She has lied about this. Thinks we are idiots. Lost credibility,” another Instagram user seconded.
“The power of surgery and botox is real,” one netizen remarked.
JLo decided to tear down the rumor mill when another netizen said, “But can I just mention that brows and forehead doesn’t move at all when you talk or try to express… you definitely have Botox. And tons of it. And it’s all good. Just sayin'.”
JLo replied, “LOL, that’s just my face!!! For the 500 millionth time, I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!! Just sayin'.”

The mom of two also advised her basher to cultivate positivity instead.

It’s the same philosophy that her brand is campaigning since its launch last Jan. 1.

"The idea of beauty having no expiration date, you know, you get to a certain age and then people are already kind of like, boop boop, you next, bye-bye. "[JLo Beauty] is about feeling great, looking great, having the healthiest skin you can have and how do you keep that youthful and timeless look at any age," she added.
