Entrepreneur and reality star Kourtney Kardashian made a statement once again after sharing snaps of herself in Balmian's Renaissance illusion dress.
The body-hugging dress featured a naked body in the front and cherubs on the back, and she received lots of mixed reactions online for it.
"Sorry to say, but this looks ridiculous," one Instagram user said.
"I guess I just don't understand fashion," another wrote.
"I think it's funny how the other celebs lie to you and tell you this outfit is fire... but the rest of us tell you the truth," said another one.
Meanwhile, Kourtney's friend Phil Riportella left fire heart emojis, while her store Poosh, left fire emojis.
Trompe l'oeil (or "trick the eye" in French) naked dresses are nothing new in fashion, as it was popularized in the '90s by designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Remember those printed fake boobs and abs on t-shirts you see in tiangges? It's similar to that, only sexier and more stylish.
It has become popular in the recent years, having celebrities go gaga over with photorealistic prints of the nude female form.
