Uniqlo's Round Mini Shoulder Bag has captured the internet's attention, so much so that it has officially become the most popular fashion item this year.
Lyst, a UK-based fashion technology company and premium shopping app, has named the sell-out bag as the "hottest" fashion product of 2023. It's also the first ever cheapest product to have made it on the Lyst Index.
According to them, they have filtered more than eight million items by volume of social media mentions, searches, page views, interactions, and sales in the app. The half-moon crossbody bag from the Japanese retail company has made it to the top spot, beating the Skims Sculpt Bodysuit, celebrity-favorite MSCHF Big Red Boots, and the adidas Gazelle Sneakers.
"Retailing at under $20, it’s the cheapest product to ever be featured in The Lyst Index. After going viral on TikTok and generating over 59 million views on the platform, it sold out multiple times across multiple colorways," Lyst wrote.
