Isn’t it rewarding to know that the beauty brands you love are making a difference? There are brands that go beyond hair, skincare, and makeup and do more than just to make you look good. They let your inner beauty shine through with beauty that gives back.

Because the holidays are just around the corner, we thought now is the perfect time to show support for those who need it most. And so here are a few beauty brands that support worthy causes—some don't even require you to purchase anything!

Benefit Cosmetics

It's all about women helping women these days, and one brand that supports this advocacy is Benefit Cosmetics. This month, the international beauty brand is providing support to I Support the Girls Manila, an international non-profit organization that aims to provide women with hygiene essentials, including sanitary pads, tampons, and bras to underprivileged women amid the COVID-19 crisis.

All you have to do to help is donate your slightly used bras at participating Benefit branches (Mall of Asia, Trinoma, SM Megamall, ATC, and Greenbelt) and get 20% OFF on all full-sized brow products and a free brow wax voucher! Yup, no purchase needed!

Prim Botanicals

US-based Filipino skincare brand Prim Botanicals is another feel-good brand that gives back—and they're not just supporting one charity, but four! For one, they are members of the 1% for the Planet, an international organization whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes. "Since all of our ingredients are sourced naturally, we feel a responsibility to help protect the resources that bring us so much joy. We want you always feel good about your decision to choose prim and promise to always do our part to give back what we can, however we can," they wrote.

Another is The Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation. Prim Botanicals has built a boat to help kids in flood-prone areas get to school through the said foundation. They have also partnered with Glory Reborn to help marginalized pregnant women "receive the medical and emotional help they need for themselves and their newborn babies" and lastly, they provide basic needs to homeless children in Manila through Tiny Blessings. "We give back, every month, whether or not we receive extra money for donations," they wrote on their website.
