LOOK: Fashion standouts at Binibining Pilipinas 2021
The recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2021 gave us new queens. It also revealed a parade of attendees in their sartorial best.
Local designers took center stage with judges, hosts and former beauty queens as their muses, who all arrived at the Araneta Coliseum in their stylish glory.
Event hosts Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves set the tone of the night with four wardrobe changes throughout the program.
Catriona donned four looks—first an immaculate white gown by Jaggy Glarino, a blue and silver asymmetrical gown with crystal tassel trim, and a pink suit by Kannah Design. For the latter part of the program, Catriona wore an intricately designed Mak Tumang pantsuit.
Nicole Cordoves was also stunning in her four looks, styled by Bonita Penaranda.
Included her first look was a purple custom top, a collaboration between Studio Haring and JustBonita, which was directly molded from Nicole’s body.
She also wore a red and blush Mark Bumgarner creation, a skin-teaser Andrea Tetangco pantsuit whose top was embellished with crystals, and a gold halter gown by Jaz Cerezo.
Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up Samantha Bernardo returned to the Binibining Pilipinas stage in a striped nude and green high-slit number by Yeye Pantaleon.
Another queen, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, also took to the stage wearing a canary Leo Almodal gown with flowers and beads.
Both Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida and Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina arrived in their polished look wearing gorgeous Rhett Eala creations.
News anchor and Binibining Pilipinas 2021 judge Pinky Webb was stunning in a Rhett Eala gown that wowed not only her followers but her colleagues as well.
Meanwhile, Liza Soberano, also one of the judges, went for a corset gown by Anthony Ramirez which hugged her curves in all the right places.
