LOOK: Miss World Philippines reveals the 'Rays of Hope' crown
The countdown to Miss World Philippines 2024 is on, and the anticipation is high!
Ahead of the coronation night on July 19 from the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the organization has revealed the dazzling "Rays of Hope" crown which will be given to its rightful queen.
This masterpiece, designed by Oro China Jewelry, is more than just a headpiece—it's a symbol of "hope and new beginnings."
The "Rays of Hope" took nearly 6,000 hours to create, from the initial design to the final setting. It features 400 sparkling blue sapphires, and nearly 300 freshwater pearls, and is valued at over 268.93 karats—a true work of art waiting to adorn the next Miss World Philippines.
It "represents luck, loyalty, happiness, and love, as well as purity, harmony, and humility," said the organization.
"Each element of the crown echoes the qualities of the queen who wears it, a woman who shines brightly and inspires humanity with her positivity and purpose," it added.
The Miss World Philippines 2024 competition will be live-streamed on the organization's official YouTube channel on July 19 from the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Recently, the organization unveiled the top finalists for the Multimedia, National Costume, Miss Charity, and Top Model competitions.
The winners from the recently announced challenges will automatically secure a coveted spot on the finals night.
35 candidates are vying to take over the crown from the reigning Miss World Philippines, Gwelndolyne Fourniol, with two more titles to be awarded: Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Philippines and Miss Tourism Philippines.
