“I love sports and my favorite game is volleyball and when I have free time, I go to the beach. I go scuba diving and when I want to spice up my workouts, I do a few rounds of boxing,” Beatrice said during the introductions.

“I do most of these things with my girlfriend Kate. We’ve been together for six years, going seven in a few months,” she continued.

Beatrice also shared that they recently adopted a cat during the pandemic they named Twix.

This wasn't the first competition Beatrice gushed about her girlfriend. She talked about being in a same-sex relationship during the Q&A portion of the Binibining Cebu pageant last year, which she won.

The couple has been openly posting their love online, sharing sweet messages on each other's birthdays.

The out-and-proud candidate is part of the final 30 and Kate couldn't be more proud of her girlfriend. She recalled how nervous Beatrice was about joining Binibining Cebu to now competing for the Miss Universe Philippines crown.

"Just be your authentic self the way you have always been since the day I first met you, I’m sure the people will love you for being you, just like I do," Kate wrote on Instagram.

Beatrice replied to the sweet post, saying "Thank you for making me realize how awesome it is to conquer my fears. Thank you for always pushing me past my limits and for seeing my potential and pushing me to be better."

The final 30 candidates are set to compete for the Miss Universe Philippines crown on Sept. 25.
