Thai actor Mario Maurer wishes Rabiya Mateo good luck at Miss Universe 2020 pageant

There is no doubt that the whole Philippines is supporting Rabiya Mateo as she competes in the 69th Miss Universe. And now, it looks like she has one more supporter hoping she’d do well in the pageant: Thai actor Mario Maurer.

During a virtual press conference for cellular service TNT on Tuesday, May 11, Mario was asked about Rabiya, who has mentioned in the past that she is a fan of the Thai actor.

Rabiya has also been open about her love for Thailand’s Boys Love shows. This has earned her fans from Thailand, a country that, just like the Philippines, takes their beauty pageants very seriously. 

“I wish her good luck because I heard that she’s in the competition so I wish she have a good luck,”  Mario said.

Mario is one of TNT’s new endorsers, together with fellow Thai actors Nonkul Chanon of the hit movie Bad Genius and Gulf Kanawut of the popular BL show Tharntype: The Series.
