Miss India leads Missosology’s final hot picks for the 69th Miss Universe; PH in 3rd place
With only less than a day before the live show, pageant experts and followers have already decided on their bets and favorites at the 69th Miss Universe. Pageant website Missosology has already declared their hot picks for the pageant on May 16 (May 17, Philippine time).
For their sixth and final hot picks list, Adline Castellino of India is leading the pack.
According to Missosology, Adline has “the gift of gab” that’s perfect for the Miss Universe titleholder. But she also managed to showcase her “renewed confidence and unassuming beauty” during the pageant’s preliminary competition. Her performance during the national costume competition was also a standout, allowing Adline to showcase “her true, authentic Indian heart without the need for flashy and humongous costume pieces.”
Ranking second in Missosology’s final hot picks is Janick Maceta of Peru. “She’s intelligent, full of class, well-experienced and her beauty won the hearts of many,” the pageant website wrote. “This former Miss Supranational runner-up also exudes a magnetic charisma which could change the course for Peru in the IMG-era Miss Universe. To put it bluntly, she could be the next Miss Universe!”
Climbing a few spots from the previous hot picks of the pageant website, Rabiya Mateo of the Philippines ranks third in Missosology’s sixth and final hot picks. The website noted the negative buzz surrounding her now-controversial national costume, but added that Rabiya has proved herself to be a good speaker who also knows how to present herself on stage.
An early pageant favorite, Bianca Tirsin of Romania ranks fourth in Missosology’s hot picks. A pageant veteran, having placed third in the 2017 Miss Supranational and fourth in the 2018 Miss International, Bianca has experience on her side. “She is intelligent, hardworking, has a good command of the English language, and is above all a breath of fresh air,” Missosology wrote.
