KKW Beauty is closing—here's what you can buy from their closing-down sale

It's the end of an era for this Kim Kardashian-owned company.

On Wednesday, July 7, Kardashian announced on social media that her beauty brand, KKW Beauty, will be closing to give way to a "completely new brand."

"To our loyal customers, it all started with a Contour Kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body, and many incredible collections over the past four years," the reality star and entrepreneur wrote on social media.

She said that the site, KKWBeauty.com, will be shutting down on August 1st at midnight, but will come back as a "completely new brand" that carries products with "new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look."

"I'm excited to continue to develop and expand my product range for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned," Kardashian wrote in a statement.

"In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories for one single website," she added.

She ended her statement by thanking her fans and promising them that she will be returning soon.

KKW Beauty, which Kardashian founded in June 2017, started with a collection of contouring kits. She later on launched KKW Fragrances in July 2017 and SKIMS in November 2019.

In June 2020, Kardashian sold 20% of KKW Beauty to beauty conglomerate Coty—which also owns 51% of Kylie Cosmetics.

"Partnering with an established organization like Coty will be instrumental in the advancement of my brands as their global reach allows for faster expansion so people around the world are able to experience new launches first hand," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said in a press release.

"This relationship will allow me to focus on the creative elements that I'm so passionate about while benefiting from the incredible resources of Coty, and launching my products around the world," she added.
