'Well fought': Celebrities send love to Beatrice Luigi Gomez for her Miss Universe Top 5 spot
After earning the Top 5 spot in the 2021 Miss Universe pageant, Beatrice Luigi Gomez's name soon buzzed on social media, and even Filipino celebrities sent their well wishes and congratulations to the Cebuana beauty.
While not making it to the crucial final question and answer portion, Gomez continued the Philippines' streak of landing in the Miss Universe semifinals—a streak that began in 2010, when Maria Venus Raj placed fourth in the 59th Miss Universe pageant.
This time around, the Cebuana's pink one-piece swimsuit and gold Francis Libiran creation stole the show for the 70th Miss Universe competition. Here are the celebs who've raved over Bea so far:
Vice Ganda was one of the first celebs to send his love to Bea, as he had been live-tweeting the show. The comedian even went on to comment on the rash and dog food commercials that ran while waiting for the show to commence.
All good!!! Well fought. Congratulations and thank you Beatrice Luigi Gomez!!!!

Similar to Vice, Bianca Gonzalez was a consistent supporter of Gomez from start to finish. After notching the Top 3 spot, she also opened the possibility that Bea was given the most difficult question of the bunch, but she did her best nonetheless.

Tbh Bea got the toughest question sa Top 5. She would have nailed answering body shaming, women leaders, social media, but she still DELIVERED!!!! Nakakaproud maging Pilipina!!!! ??
